9UKAA allows you to take on the role as Approach controller at one of the many Terminal Radar Approach Control facilities of the United Kingdom Aviation Administration. Your goal is to allow for the "safe and controlled" flow of air traffic. It is your job to assist the pilots arriving at airports inside your airspace boundaries by lining them up for an approach (preparing for a landing) or handing them over to the other sector controllers. Your primary goal is to achieve and maintain a percentage higher than 75% based on your job performance. The scoring mechanism is such that you begin with 100%. Percents are deducted from 100% for separation errors, procedural and others. If you can maintain an overall career average of 75% or better, you will keep your employers happy. If you fall below that, you will lose your job. A complete report is given at the end of each scenario telling you how well you performed, and any mistakes you made. Your MAIN GOAL is to work your way through all the UKAA Terminal Radar Approach Control Facilities in the UK and work a shift at the busiest airport, HEATHROW. Can you make the grade. Direction the aircraft is flying. You can alter this.
THis panel shows the hight of the aircraft in thousands of feet. This can be changed.
This will send the info to the aircraft and close the hud.
THis area shows where the aircraft as come from and to where it is flying to.
This is the image you will see on the main hud. Each type of aircraft will have it's own image. The dotted line behind it will tell you the direction of flight
HOLD aircraft
This will hold the aircraft in a spiral untill you change direction
this shows the direction you have to approch the runway and the colour of the runway.

This marker is to show that the approch hight is safe to be at 1000 feet with out being deducted points
