The Tortoise and the Hare
从 前，一 只 兔 子 看 不 起 乌 龟，觉 得 乌 龟 跑 得 太 慢 了。

Once upon a time, there was a hare that looked down on a tortoise because he thought that the tortoise ran too slowly.
So they decided to have a race to the top of the hill.
它 们 俩 决 定 比 赛 跑 步，看 谁 先 跑 到 山 顶 上。
比 赛！
比 赛 开 始 了。兔 子 一 开 始 就 像 离 弦 的 箭 一 样 向 前 冲 去，乌 龟 一 步 一 步 的 向 前 爬 去。
The race started, and the hare sped off like an arrow into the distance. The tortoise slowly crawled forward.
眼 看 兔 子 就 超 过 乌 龟 一 大 段，兔 子 高 兴 极 了，
It was clear the hare was already way ahead.
心 想："我 美 美 的 睡 上 一 大 觉，它 也 不 会 追 上 来 的。"
he hare was very happy and thought to himself, " Even if I take a long nap, he will never catch up with me."

就 在 兔 子 睡 觉 的 时 候，乌 龟 却 一 刻 不 停 地 向 前 爬 着，
While the hare was sleeping, the tortoise was slowly climbing up the hill.

当 乌 龟 爬 到 兔 子 面 前 说："你 太 懒 惰 了。"说 完就 向 山 顶 爬 去。
When the tortoise passed the hare he said, " You are too lazy," and continued to climb to the top of the hill.

兔 子 睡 醒 后 看 到 乌 龟 快 到 山 顶 了，他 再 追 上 去。可 是 已 经 太 晚 了。
The hare woke up and saw the tortoise was already near the top. He dashed forward, but it was too late.
乌 龟 取 得 了 胜 利，兔 子 不 再 看 不 起 乌 龟 了。
The tortoise had reached the finish line and won the race. The hare never looked down on the tortoise again.
